Welcome to the team, Sofia!

We’re excited to welcome Sofia Helena Zanella Carra from Brazil into our ever-growing Climate & Company family! Sofia has a background in Engineering and Environmental Science and is currently doing her Ph.D. in Germany in the field of Agricultural Sciences, and is working for us part-time as a Junior Analyst until she completes it.

As part of our team, she’s working on a project which is focused on Brazil’s positioning toward the new EU regulatory framework, mainly regarding the EU deforestation-free supply chain, sustainable finance instruments, international cooperation, and the G20 Brazilian Presidency.

Sofia is also a board member of the Brazilian Alliance of Sustainable Finance and Investments, and also participates in some groups in Brazil to follow the discussions on Sustainable Finance. We’re so happy to have you with us, Sofia! Welcome aboard!
