CIC2030: Strategies to finance the 2030 climate targets

Our project “Climate Investment Capacity (CIC): climate finance dynamics & structure for financing the 2030 targets” is funded by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety. It is carried out as part of the European Climate Initiative (EUKI). We work together with the Institute for Climate protection, energy and mobility (IKEM) on this project until December 2020.

CIC 2030 addresses the challenges associated with climate investments and aims to build new capacities in Germany, Latvia and the Czech Republic for this purpose. The starting point of the project is existing knowledge and experience, which should be transferred to other contexts with the help of implementing partners and adapted to the respective national circumstances.
