Emma joined the Climate & Company team as a junior analyst in August 2023 and is part of a project that works on the development of a strategic framework for strengthening sustainable finance in Germany. At the moment, she is working on her Master’s thesis for her degree in Climate Studies at Wageningen University in the Netherlands. She is involved in activist work for Amnesty International, focusing on gender and human rights topics and consent education.
Previously, she lived in Berlin and studied Economics, Politics and Social Thought at Bard College Berlin. She has work and internship experience in the Germany Ministry of Finance and environmental, economic and human rights NGOs. Whenever she can, she loves to dance salsa and bachata, make fermented foods, cook and find the best spots for sunset and sunrise walks.
