As a leading Think Tank in sustainable finance, we operate at the intersection of climate and environmental policy, academia, financial market regulation, monetary and fiscal policy, and the real economy. Our distinctive blend of technical expertise, fresh ideas, strong communication skills, and—most importantly—our dedication to making sustainable transition work, has led to the successful implementation of many hands-on sustainable finance projects and solutions over the past years.
Our 26-person team brings together expertise in sustainability accounting, data science, environmental economics, policy analysis, auditing, international cooperation and communication. This diversity allows us to react swiftly to political shifts - such as the evolving narrative on competitiveness and the Omnibus regulation in the EU. We know who needs what, and by when.
We routinely engage with, advise and convene policymakers, financial institutions, and real-economy companies around the globe to translate standards and regulation into workable market practice – and to feed that market practice back into policy making. We have experience and networks at national, European and international level and are in constant exchange with, amongst others, financial institutions, SMEs and larger companies, European Commission services and cabinets, EFRAG, members of the former German Sustainable Finance Advisory Committee, academic leaders in the field of Sustainable Finance, and National and international business associations.
