European Sustainable Energy Week
May 20, 2024
With the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) happening from 11-13 June 2024, there will be a lot happening both in Brussels and online. This year’s EUSEW will adopt a hybrid approach, blending online and onsite participation. Themed ‘Net-zero energy solutions for a competitive Europe’ , the event encompasses a 3-day Policy Conference, the European Sustainable Energy Awards Ceremony, the Energy Fair, and the fifth edition of the European Youth Energy Day.
Together with our partners in the EU LIFE CONFESS consortium, Climate & Company will be participating in an online workshop titled “Small and medium-sized enterprises and the EU Taxonomy: A guide to sustainability”. CONFESS is a three-year EU project carried out by a consortium spanning across the Czech Republic, Germany and Italy. The project’s primary objective is to develop a certification scheme specifically designed for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with activities in clean energy – meaning energy efficiency or renewable energy. This certification scheme will be based on the EU Taxonomy and will incorporate additional energy-related metrics, thereby enabling a comprehensive assessment of environmental sustainability.
Join us during this event to engage in insightful discussions on guiding small businesses towards cleaner energy practices. This specific online workshop will take place on the 13th of June from 16:00-17:00 CEST.
