Laura Bethke

Laura Bethke is Head of Communication at Climate & Company, where she leads the communication strategy and stakeholder engagement. She is responsible for translating complex sustainability topics ranging from corporate sustainability reporting to biodiversity and green finance, into clear, accessible, and compelling narratives. She also serves as the main media contact for journalists and press inquiries.

Prior to joining Climate & Company, Laura spent eight years at the European Commission, where she worked as a press officer engaging with the German media on financial and trade issues.

She holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Journalism and a Bachelor’s in European Economic Studies. Outside of work, Laura is a certified yoga instructor and enjoys spending time in her garden on the outskirts of Berlin, hiking in Brandenburg, and making memories with her two children.
