Moritz Driescher

Moritz joined Climate & Company in 2022 and works on simplifying sustainability reporting for SMEs to strengthen their competitiveness and resilience. He holds a B.Sc. in Economics and an M.Sc. in Environmental Science, Policy and Management. At Ernst & Young, he contributed to Germany’s National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights, which led to the adoption of the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act.
His work at Climate & Company is driven by the desire to help companies overcome the initial hurdles of sustainability reporting by reducing complexity to its essential parts. Whether contributing to workshop series or the development of online tools, Moritz aims to motivate people to become sustainability champions within their organisations. Insights from this work are regularly fed back to decision-makers to support environmentally robust yet practical policy design. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball with people that are taller than him, exploring the outdoors, and dancing salsa.
