COP30 Roundtable: Towards Ambition-Raising and High-Integrity Use of Article 6
November 5, 2025
Climate & Company, Oxford Sustainable Finance Group and the Foundation Development and Climate Alliance are delighted to invite you to a Roundtable Discussion on Article 6 at COP Belem.
Article 6 of the Paris Agreement sets the stage for international carbon trading and will define global standards for market integrity. As market participants increasingly engage with this framework, they face a complex and evolving landscape.
This invitation-only Roundtable will explore how organisations can responsibly and ambitiously engage with Article 6—developing robust strategies, generating high-quality credits, and making credible climate claims.
We will convene under Chatham House rules, bringing together businesses, financial institutions, standard-setters, policymakers, foundations, and think tanks. The session includes:
- Two short keynotes on best practices for high-integrity Article 6 engagement
- A guided discussion on implementing Article 6 at the highest standards
Let’s shape Article 6 to drive real climate ambition.
