Soon all trade between the EU and the rest of the world will need to adhere to the EU Supply Chain and Deforestation Law, which lays out a number of requirements that are aimed at limiting biodiversity loss in the EU’s biggest trade partners. Indonesia is one of the countries that will be impacted the hardest. However, it remains unclear how exactly the laws will impact businesses and what can be done to increase the cooperation between the EU and Indonesia.
