Helene supports Climate & Company as strategic communication advisor and copywriter on corporate communication, media outreach and strategic marketing. In her previous life, Helene was a senior communication advisor at the European Commission: in 2019, she was the German speechwriter of European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and advised Ursula von der Leyen in the weeks when she became the first female President of the European Commission. Prior to that, she was the Head of Communication of the European Commission Representation in Berlin.

In 2020, Helene founded her own business “Let’s Just Be Imperfect, Ladies”. As a speaker, workshop host and mentor she supports women working in male-dominated work environments to find their confidence in their authentic feminine leadership style. In her online talks and workshops, she brings male and female leaders together for a more open, transparent and diverse work culture in their organisations. Next to her passion for yoga, stand-up paddling and really good coffee that she enjoys in her entrepreneurial life in Berlin and Brussels, Helene is a Visiting Professor at the College of Europe in Bruges.
