Tycho Tax

Tycho joined the C&C team in 2021 as an advisor on data science and quantitative economics-related topics. He has a background in physics and mathematics and began his career as a researcher at Imperial College London where he studied the information theoretic properties of artificial neural networks.
Wishing to work on projects with real-world impact, he has applied his expertise to solve challenging societal problems in the fields of healthcare, economics, disinformation and the environment. At C&C he works, among other things, on supply chain modeling and its relation to biodiversity finance and deforestation. Aside from work, he enjoys singing classical music, playing squash, sportclimbing and writing poetry.
