Climate & Company at COP16
See you in Cali, for COP16!
Let's collaborate and mobilise private capital to finance the transition.
Protecting biodiversity worldwide is not optional if we want to tackle climate change and the destruction of our planet. At Biodiversity COP16 in Cali, Colombia, let’s move from pledges to action. Climate & Company’s focus will be on the need to mobilise private capital to implement the Goals and Targets of the GBF, especially Targets 10, 15, and 19. We are looking to collaborate and exchange with partners from all around the globe to find tailor-made solutions to make the transformation work for all along the supply chain.
We want to use COP16 to explore with you
- The role of National and Regional Sustainable Investment Hubs around the globe to foster sustainable finance frameworks and shift more private capital towards climate and biodiversity-positive investments
- Why and how to facilitate finance to support partners (especially smallholders and local communities) transition to deforestation-free supply chains
- How to cultivate sustainability due diligence from the financial sector and make it work in practice for them
- How to overcome key challenges to make disclosure on nature-related impacts work along entire value chains to advance the implementation of GBF-Target 15
