Raphael Tietmeyer is our External Advisor on sustainability disclosure and regulation and a PhD candidate and research associate at the University of Hamburg. His primary research interest focuses on the consequences of environmental, social and governance (ESG) disclosure, performance and risks. He studied International Business Administration (B.Sc.) at the University of Twente and Global Business and Sustainability (M.Sc.) at the Erasmus University, Rotterdam. After his studies, Raphael gained experience in operations and organization in a small enterprise for sustainable textiles. At the University of Hamburg, he also coordinates the Bloomberg Terminal and his professorship is part of the research group on sustainable finance. In his free time, Raphael enjoys travelling, swimming, biking and playing the guitar.
